Over the fact that I would be granted the chance in the first place, especially if it were a big mistake on my part. Nervous, as well, over if I can avoid making mistakes with the second chance.
IT'S NOT NECESSARILY THAT THE CHANCE WILL BE TAKEN BACK. MORE LIKE YOU'LL JUST MESS THAT SHIT UP AND THEN THE SECOND CHANCE KIND OF BECOMES MOOT IN THE END. HERE SOMETHING HAS GIVEN YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO STOP BEING SUCH A BULGEBITING FAILURE, RIGHT? DO YOU REALLY WANT TO THINK THAT IT'S ALL FOR NAUGHT? THAT THE TIME AND EFFORT WAS JUST SORT OF WASTED?
Being given a second chance means that what you needed to do still needs to be done. I wouldn't feel "lucky" - I would simply acknowledge that my role was still necessary.
If you don't get a second chance, adapt, rethink your plans, look for different advantages. If you do get a second chance, then take the chance that fate has dealt you and try again.
How would I feel? Ha, lucky, I suppose. But then it's never any great problem if I don't get the second chance.
Ehe, I guess that's a good point. I suppose it's just that in the grand scheme of things I don't matter much, so it just seems odd to me. Unless it's just for something small like missed homework, of course. Then I'd just be pleased about that. [ not that she's ever missed homework in her life, but... ]
Why are you asking, anyway, Kotomine-san? Did someone give you a second chance with something recently?
Well, I'm mostly sure. I mean, it happened the last time a virus gave me a second chance to do something that I'd failed to do before. I managed to do what I couldn't the last time, but then it went wrong.
Overjoyed; if I could use that chance to change myself...to make it so that no one could look at me and think of me as the same person I was before... That would be the greatest gift.

Is something the matter, Father Kotomine?

It seems I've proven my teacher wrong about something, at the very least.
